Introduction
The entire team from AMS / ATLAS is proud to welcome you to the latest build for ATLAS. The October build includes a number of enhancements and tweaks. We hope you love the new changes and as always, any feedback is welcome!
Improved Email System
The Email System has been improved in the October build to provide better performance for email lists or groups over 100. The improvements will be evident when you create an email from the Message Center with a large number of recipients or select a large group from the People List to send an email to. Once you click send, you’ll be taken to the sent list and a notification will appear in the upper right hand corner. This notification (see the image below screenshot 1) lets you know that your message is being sent in the background. The new email system will send large groups of emails in the background so you can continue to use ATLAS without waiting for the emails to be sent.

Additionally, our development team created a new system for email that clarifies what happens to all of the recipients of your emails. For instance, if you choose multiple people with the same email the system will now let you know that those emails bounced (see #1 in the image below screenshot 2). When you drill into the sent message you’ll notice another new column (see #1 in the image below screenshot 3) that shows how many times an email was bounced due to duplication.

Point of Sale Enhancement
ATLAS has a number of enhancements for the Point of Sale (POS) feature. First is the ability to view your Past Sales (see #1 in the image below screenshot 1) right from the navigation without having to go into the POS first. Second, the receipts created from transactions in the POS now show your schools information (see #1 in the image below screenshot 2) and the payment method (see #2 in the image below screenshot 2) used.

Staff Management Enhancement
The Staff Management System has been simplified for ease of use. We’ve added the ability to create a new Staff member straight from the Group Actions list (see #1 in the image below screenshot 1) available on the People List(s). The new staff member form follows the look and feel of the New Prospect and Contact forms. You will notice that there is the addition of the Login Information section (see #2 in the image below screenshot 1). After filling in the login information the Permissions setup section will display (see #2 in the image below screenshot 2). This allows you to set the staff members permissions without having to visit the profile. The method of changing a staff member from enabled to disabled in the person profile has moved to the Staff tab (see #1 in the image below screenshot 3).
